Bank Rakyat Sustainability Sukuk Framework (BRSSF)

The Bank Rakyat Sustainability Sukuk Framework is a comprehensive framework that integrates sustainability principles into the issuance of Sukuk. It aims to promote environmentally and socially responsible investment, ensuring transparency and accountability in Islamic finance.  

Under the framework, funds are directed to projects that support specific United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) such as affordable housing, renewable energy, green buildings, clean transportation, and socioeconomic development selected based on criteria set by Bank Rakyat’s Sustainability Committee (STC) to ensure alignment with its sustainability goals.
