Features

Takaful myHome Content protects your home contents and personal belongings from damage or loss as follows:

Loss or damage to your home contents due to fire, lightning and explosion caused by gas used for domestic purposes
Loss or damage to your home contents by aircraft, road vehicles or animals, bursting or overflowing of water tanks or pipes, forcible theft and violent entry as well as natural disasters such as windstorms, earthquakes and floods
Damage to the mirrors
Maid’s property
Liability to third parties for accidents in your house
Compensation for fatal injury occurring by visible violence caused by thieves or by fire
Lost of rent not exceeding 10% of the contents sum insured.
Additional Coverage:
- Deterioration of food in the freezer
- Cost of replacing locks or keys
- Cost of replacing lost legal documents
- Cleaning services or laundry cost
- Loss or damage to the water filter outside the building (within the compound) other than by fire or lightning

You may extend coverage to the following risks by paying additional contribution:

Subsidence and landslip - 0.081% x Sum Covered/Plan Selected
Riot, strike and malicious damage (RSMD) - 0.010% x Sum Covered/Plan Selected.

**Subject to the maximum value limit (total value of all items) for platinum, gold, and silver items as well as jewelry, and animal fur,which should not exceed 1/3 of the total home contents coverage.

Eligibility

Under this certificate, the house owner or tenant is the participant (certificate holder).
“Contents” means household goods and personal effects belonging to the participant or any member of the family residing with the participant in the same private dwelling house
The participant must be 18 years old and above
