1. What are the eligibility requirements for Rakyat CARE Bank Rakyat?
- Having a valid business license/permit/registration issued by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) or Local Authorities (PBT).
- Having a permanent business premise.
- Having an advanced business and having operated the business for 2 years.
- The business activities conducted are not contrary to Shariah.
- The business premise area must have wide coverage of internet connection.
- Residents nearby or within 5km from other Rakyat CARE.
- Operating hours must be a minimum of 5 days a week and 5 hours a day.
- Having good financial records.
- Not bankrupt.
2. What is the application procedure for Rakyat CARE?
- Applicants can apply to become agents by:
- Visiting the nearest Bank Rakyat branch: Please fill in and submit the Rakyat CARE Application Form with relevant documents OR
- Contacting Bank Rakyat Call Centre: Provide agent information to Bank Rakyat Call Centre Officer.
- The Bank processes the Rakyat CARE application.
- The Bank contacts successful agents.
3. What documents need to be prepared by the applicant?
- Copy of applicant's MyKAD.
- Copy of Business License.
- Cooperative/Company Profile (if any).
- Latest Financial Report and;
- Additional Documents:
- If Partnership
- Rakyat Kongsi Permission Letter
- If Cooperative
- Small Laws (Cooperative)
- If Private Limited Company
- Form 24 (certified copy)
