In line with the requirements under Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)’s Payment Cards Framework (PCF) Policy, Interchange Fees are as shown below, effective by 1 January 2023.

Domestic debit card | 0.10% of the value of the transaction or RM 0.37 + 0.001% (whichever is lower) |
International debit card | 0.27% of the value of the transaction or RM0.63 + 0.001% (whichever is lower) |
Credit card | 0.60% of the value of the transaction. |

PLATFORM TO REPORT UNAUTHORISED CARD SURCHARGE
Merchants are not allowed to impose a surcharge or set minimum purchase amount on debit card or credit card payment from cardholder’s card transaction. Cardholder may lodge a complaint on merchants imposing a surcharge or minimum purchase amount for payment card transactions to Acquiring@bankrakyat.com.my.
