MENTOR MENTEE PROGRAMME

Bank Rakyat established the Mentor Mentee programme to provide cooperatives with consultancy, training and advisory services to help them enhance their operational efficiency.

Under the programme, the Bank conducted a series of briefings on effective cooperative management system which is adopted by Bank Rakyat. Through this programme, the Bank is the mentor to Bank Persatuan to implement their management restructuring plan.

The Bank also continues to provide counseling to credit cooperatives on the proper implementation of Syariah based Financing System. To date, more than 60 credit cooperatives had successfully transformed their operations from conventional to Syariah-based system.
