  • 1PAY is the first of its kind transformation for electronic payment instrument via internet in Malaysia and is given free to all Bank Rakyat's Electronic Current Account (eCA-i) holders. With 1PAY, customers are able to perform electronic transactions such as Cash Payment and Fund Transfer via internet.
  • 1PAY allow account holders of Electronic Current Account (eCA-i) to perform payment via cash or fund transfer and enjoy basic functions of a physical cheque such as payment cash out, post dated payment and full electronic payment instrument with payment evidence.
  • 1PAY is the first internet payment innovation in Malaysia that caters to Individual and Non-Individual customers and fulfills the needs of business society through its unique features.
  • Simplified, secured, fast and cost effective banking experience for account holders when performing account management, checking of cheque float status, cash payment, fund transfer as well as protection of banking information.
  • With 1PAY, the payee/recipient will receive convenient proof of payment, proficient notification, verification of payment details, automatic payment crediting and flexible payment encashment at any Bank Rakyat branches.
  • With 1PAY, cost is minimized and income is maximimized.
SERVICES FUNCTION
Fund Transfer / Payment Intrabank and interbank fund transfer via IBG and Rentas with no time limitations and boundaries.
Online Cash Payment Enable customer (payer) to perform payment/fund transfer to the recipient (payee) via cash over the counter online. The payee can cash out /encash the payment at any Bank Rakyat branches available nationwide.
Cheque Purchase Enable online cheque purchase transactions. Customer may collect the physical cheque at any Bank Rakyat branches.
Account Management Assist customer in managing their account such as account updates, account reconciliation, account summary, transaction report and other transactions via real time. ​
Maker/Authoriser function Availability of Maker function in facilitating transaction entry in the system and Approver function for verification and approval.

1 Guaranteed Payment

Option 1:

  • Payment that has an effective date/due date of not more than 3 days from the authorized date of payment issuance.
  • System performs 'auto earmark' on payer's account from the approval date of payment issuance.
  • Payer account will only be debited on the effective date/due date (crediting of payee account) or on the payment claim date (Cash over the Counter).

#Note: The claim date must not be later than 6 months from the effective date/ due date (Cash Over The Counter).

Option 2:

  • Payment that has an effective date/due date of more than 3 days from the authorized date of payment issuance.
  • System performs 'auto earmark' on payer's account from the authorized date of payment issuance.
  • Payer's account will only be debited on the effective date/due date (crediting of payee account) or on the payment claim date (Cash over the Counter).

Note: The claim date must not be later than 6 months from the effective date/ due date (Cash Over The Counter)

2 Normal Payment
(Normal Payment)
  • Payment that has an effective date/due date of more than 3 days from the authorized date of payment issuance.
  • System allows payment instruction to be made even though insufficient balance of payer's account. This practice is similar to conventional cheque usage.
  • Payer's account will only be debited on the effective date/due date or on payment claim date however no later than 6 months from the effective date/due date (Cash over the Counter).

Note: The claim date must not be later than 6 months from the effective date/ due date (Cash Over The Counter).

Earmark Request by Recipient

  • Payee is also given the facility to apply for a guaranteed payment (earmark request)/ transfer of funds from the payer however subject to payer's approval.
  • Notification will be given to the payer and payee.

Stop Payment

  • Stop Payment function can be performed immediately (Real Time) via online.
  • Notification will be given to the payer and payee.

Future Payment/PDC

  • Payer can perform future payment date equivalent to Post Dated Cheque (PDC) function.

Notification to payer and payee

  • Payment is automatically verified via explicit payment notification/message sent using SMS/email to the recipient and Payer.
  • Payee/recipient is able to check their payment details via 1PAY website notwithstanding that the payee/recipient is not an existing Customer of Bank Rakyat.

  • Payment is fast and automatically verified via notification/message sent either via SMS/email to the payee and payer.
